Job Description


Insight Global is looking to hire a full-time permanent Product Engineer for one of our manufacturing clients in Rock Hill, SC. The ideal candidate for this position should have a strong technical background and experience in electro-mechanical design, assembly processes and test, as well as a high level of knowledge in product design. Additional experience in product sustaining is also highly desirable. He/she should be well organized, disciplined, and self-motivated, with the capability to balance multiple priorities related to operations and organizational goals. Some responsibilities of this role include: Managing technical programs on behalf of the Plastics Supply Chain Operations - Engineering Services organization, leading projects and programs to reach goals/objectives for an assigned portfolio of products, and create/manage cross functional leadership teams to complete plans/tasks/milestones. He/she must be able to communicate with internal company personnel, as well as customers, suppliers, and third parties with equal effectiveness and professionalism.
