Compensation Range: $65-85/hr
Summary:
The Project Manager will specialize in planning, executing, and delivering high-impact projects within the manufacturing and distribution environment. The role requires strong leadership skills, expertise in SAP systems, and a solid background in supply chain and materials management. The successful candidate will excel in a matrixed environment, aligning resources and building effective relationships across global teams to achieve outstanding results.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams on day-to-day project activities.
- Work closely with product owners, project leads, and team members to plan and implement key milestones.
- Conclude business requirements, develop solutions, and drive continuous improvement.
- Create, manage, track, and report on project plans.
- Communicate project status, progress, issues, risks, and financials to key stakeholders.
- Ensure projects adhere to SDLC governance and review processes.
- Direct change control processes, ensuring appropriate stakeholder approvals.
- Partner with leadership to provide periodic summaries of key program updates to the steering committee.
- Deliver metrics for transparency and accountability of project health and progress.
- Engage with various cross-functional teams, including Infrastructure, Information Security, IT Architecture, and Master Data, to ensure successful delivery.
- Manage risks, issues, and dependencies at the program and project level.
- Apply lessons learned to improve future project outcomes.
Must-Haves:
- Bachelor's Degree in any field.
- 5-7 years of experience in Project Management within a manufacturing and distribution environment.
- Experience with SAP systems (SAP, SAP ECC, SAP Supply Chain Planning).
- Relevant experience in supply chain management, materials management, and systems implementation.
- Proven ability to lead teams, communicate effectively, and drive results.
- Exposure to process improvement, root cause analysis, and corrective action planning.
Nice-to-Haves:
- 10+ years of system implementation experience (e.g., SAP ECC, S/4, Data, ADF), including root cause analysis and corrective action planning.
- Strong understanding of closed-loop endpoints to ensure seamless end-to-end integration.
