Job Title: Transportation/Logistics Analyst

Location: Corona, CA

Position Type: Full-Time, Hybrid (Three days on-site/two remote) after training period

Salary Range: $28-$30 per hour

Job Description: LHH is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Transportation/Logistics Analyst to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have strong Excel skills and a proven track record of managing large freight shipments to chain accounts and large mass market customers. This role will be responsible for serving as a liaison with carriers, negotiating rates, and handling disputes effectively. Additionally, the candidate must excel in cross-functional collaboration, possess exceptional customer service skills, and demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot independently when necessary.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate large freight shipments to chain accounts and mass market customers.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for carriers, negotiating rates, and resolving disputes in a timely manner.
  • Utilize advanced Excel skills to analyze transportation data, identify trends, and optimize logistics processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless transportation operations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Troubleshoot transportation issues independently and implement effective solutions.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in transportation and logistics, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong analytical mindset.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and priorities.
