The Aliveness Project is a Minnesota-based organization working to empower individuals living with HIV. We provide a range of health and wellness services to promote longer and healthier lives. As the first and only drop-in community center for people living with HIV in the Midwest, The Aliveness Project welcomes individuals of all ages and backgrounds. Our services include on-site hot meals, a food shelf, case management, integrative therapies, health and wellness workshops, HIV testing, and nutrition counseling.

Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Director of Human Resources and Operations located in Minneapolis, MN. The Director of Human Resources and Operations will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day tasks related to human resources and operations management. This includes establishing HR policies, managing employee relations, implementing performance management processes, ensuring compliance with labor and employment laws, and overseeing the smooth functioning of daily operations at The Aliveness Project.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of Human Resources (HR) practices and principles
  • Experience in developing and implementing HR policies
  • Expertise in employee relations and conflict resolution
  • Proven experience in performance management
  • Extensive knowledge of labor and employment law
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in a non-profit organization is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
