Job Description

Location: Madison, AL

Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:30 AM - 4:00 PM (occasional Saturday overtime)

Pay: $21/hour starting rate

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with quality standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Conduct root cause analyses and implement corrective actions for quality-related issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product and process quality.
  • Perform audits on processes, equipment, and materials to identify potential issues.
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including control plans and inspection procedures.
  • Train team members on quality standards and best practices.
  • Utilize problem-solving techniques such as 8D, FMEA, and SPC to address and resolve quality challenges.
  • Interface with customers and suppliers to ensure expectations are met and maintained.



Required Skills & Experience
  • Education: High school diploma or GED required. An associate's or bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 2 years in a quality role within a manufacturing environment; automotive industry experience is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in root cause analysis and implementing corrective/preventive actions.
  • Hands-on experience with quality tools and methodologies (8D, FMEA, SPC, APQP).
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (candidates may be required to complete an Excel assessment as part of the hiring process).
  • Familiarity with ISO/TS 16949 or IATF 16949 standards.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Proficiency with measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, CMM, etc.).
  • Competency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
