Here's what you'll do:
- Accurately processes account orders via all channels in a timely manner; phone, email and B2B online platforms.
- Plans and organizes a daily work schedule to service existing customers.
- Assists Account Representatives and other sales team members in serving accounts; may be asked to participate in store- level outreach.
- Processes credit requests, determine reason for loss and inform purchasing and quality teams issues.
- Maintains a basic understanding of OGC's products, quality, pack, promotions, substitutions, pricing and services to match products to account needs and increase sales volume.
- Has an understanding of account needs and preferences, and how to best service each account.
- Maintains familiarity with daily push and upsell items and proactively communicates deals to accounts.
- Ensures all orders are accurately documented and entered into the computer system.
- Communicates service issues to Account Representatives and other departments as needed. Supports in resolution of issues, leading to account satisfaction.
- Supports OGC sustainability goals an actively work to reduce environmental impact.
Requirements
Qualified candidates will have:
- At least 2 years of experience in a customer service focused role required.
- At least 1 year of commercial produce experience.
- Basic working knowledge of produce varieties, regions, and seasons.
- Familiarity with project management or project supporting functions.
- Excellent communication and listening skills, including interpretation of basic financial data.
- Basic conflict management and negotiation skills.
- Attention to detail and strong organization skills.
- Ability to develop strong relationships to gain support and achieve results.
- Manage multiple and conflicting priorities, and exemplify process management, while maintaining composure and exercising organizational agility.
- Ability to consistently meet deadlines and work under pressure.
- Ability to listen and identify client needs and inform Account Representative or Sales Manager of potential improvements.
Physical Requirements:
This position requires the ability to sit for long periods of time, hear and converse over the telephone and in person, and on a computer. Requires ability to accurately receive and disseminate information to maintain and enhance relationships. Requires ability to travel and occasional overnight travel. Standing, stooping, bending required. Ability to meet the above description of position with or without reasonable accommodation.
