Job PostingEmployee will be responsible for assisting in the daily operations of an aircraft repair and modification facility parts department. Our parts department supports 40+ technicians maintaining all types of General Aviation and Corporate Aviation aircraft as well as outside customer and internet sales.Responsibilities:Generating purchase orders, shipping/receiving, inventory management, establishing reorder points for inventory items, PO/Invoice reconciliation, RFQ's, data entry, helping to expand outside sales and establishing discounted contracts with suppliers and shippersOperation of vehicles including forkliftsAbility to lift large boxesSalary & Benefits:Starting 5day work week (Monday Friday)Available transition to 4-day work week after trainingCompany sponsored health benefits after 60 days401K available 4-year vesting period on company matching fundsPersonal Time Off (PTO) 40 hours 1st year accrued monthlyQualifications You Must Have:High school diploma or GED equivalent and typically 4 or more years of relevant experienceExperience with computer controlled inventory systems.Excellent written and vocal skills, ability to communicate well.Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookPhysical lifting of 50 pounds and ladder usageValid driver's license without alcohol or drug violations in last 36 monthsQualifications We Prefer:Preferred experience of 2-4 years previous aviation parts department environment, warehouse experience or equivalentFamiliarity with AvPro or similar aviation maintenance tracking systemsHazMat Training/CertificationAbility to operate a ForkliftExperience with shipping databases, such as FedEx, DHL, UPSCurrent Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and clean driving recordUnderstanding of Shelf LifeBackground in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US MilitaryImportant Notice: To conform to U.S. Government international trade regulations, applicant must be a U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State or U.S. Department of Commerce.
