·Provides instruction in theory and practical applications of the discipline in accordance with academic state standards

·Teaches face-to-face, hybrid, or on-campus, as needed, in accordance with college faculty loads

·Instructs courses in a classroom/lab/clinic/field environment that closely simulates the environment of the industry

·Utilizes current technology in the classroom/lab/clinic

·Evaluates students’ progress in attaining goals and objectives

Supports Program Director/Division Deans/Associate Deans

·Requests and maintains supplies and equipment

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional classroom/lab/clinical environment.This role routinely uses standard office/classroom/lab equipment and technologies.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear.The employee must occasionally lift or move classroom/lab equipment and supplies, up to 25 pounds.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time instructional position.Work load is Monday-Friday day/evening hours.Weekends based on need.

Travel

Travel to other campuses is a possibility for teaching assignments, meetings, trainings, and professional development.

Required Education and Experience

Associate’s Degree in Industrial Systems Technology, Precision Manufacturing, or a related field such as Advanced or Industrial Manufacturing from an accredited institution Three (3) years out of the past seven (7) years of experience in-field Valid Driver’s License

Preferred Education and Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Systems Technology, Manufacturing, or a related field from an accredited institution Directly related teaching experience at the postsecondary level Six-Sigma and\or other lean manufacturing or other Industry recognized in-field Certifications

Other Duties

Minimum qualifications for this position will be determined by the teaching discipline and compliance with appropriate accrediting bodies. Faculty must be credentialed to satisfy all appropriate accrediting bodies for the course assigned
