Contract position

The candidate should have prior experience in the property & casualty industry supporting Claims Systems. The candidate will need to be skilled in interacting with the development team product owner and all levels of claims users.

Responsibilities:

• Support of thirdparty vendor initiatives partner with vendor resources and internal IT leads in support of the development testing and rollout of new programs or changes to existing programs.
  

• Facilitate requirement gathering sessions with business SME s and product owners in support of new systems and enhancements to existing systems.
  

• Create/review requirement documents and acceptance criteria for use by developer and QA resources.
  

• Support existing BI tool for insureds/brokers
  

• Support of Regulatory reporting to include CMS EDI and USR
  

• Review test strategy and test scenarios for QA resources and provide testing support.
  

• As a UAT team member (during the user acceptance testing phase of projects) create and execute UAT scripts document results assist with defect remediation.
  

Qualifications:

• Strong analytical skills to develop an indepth knowledge of both company specific processes and requirements as well as the "out of the box" functionality of thirdparty software packages.
  

• Experience with Claims
  

• Strong facilitation and communication skills to conduct successful requirements gathering sessions and assist our business customers in making wellinformed decisions regarding technology.
  

• Experience with the software development lifecycle and projects that are managed in both waterfall and agile environments.
  

• Experience with Microsoft Office products (Excel PowerPoint Visio and Word) as well as agile tools (Rally ADO etc.).
  

• 3 years Commercial Property & Casualty insurance products experience.
