Fleet Program Supervisor

The knowledge, skills, and abilities of this position are normally attained through a combination of education and experience equivalent to two years job related college or vocational training in automotive technology and three years of related experience. At least two years of experience in welding technology is required. Two years of supervisory experience is preferred. Other combinations of education and experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Special Information:

This position manages and supervises the fleet section and all functions there in. Responsible for developing, maintaining, managing and administering all department fleet policies, procedures and budget.Procurement of new fleet vehicles and equipment, establishing rates, manage the fleet and maintenance area budgets, evaluate fleet condition, identify through analysis vehicles to be disposed, communicate program needs and status to upper management, directly supervise a staff of 5 full time employees and one seasonal, oversee all aspects of fleet operations. Recommend areas for improvement to better meet the department needs.
