Patient Care Companion

Key Responsibilities: Companionship: Be a friendly and supportive presence for the patient throughout the night. Engage in conversations offer emotional support and ensure their comfort. Assistance with Daily Living: Assist the patient with daily living activities such as getting in and out of bed using the restroom and any other tasks they may require help withMedication Reminder: If needed remind the patient to take their medications as prescribed. Monitor Safety: Ensure the patients safety during the night help prevent accidents and promptly respond to any emergency situations. Meal Assistance: If required assist with meal preparation and feeding considering any dietary restrictions or preferences. Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the patients living space clean and organized. Communication: Communicate with hospital staff and the patients healthcare team to ensure the patients care plan is followed.
Qualifications: Previous experience in patient care or similar roles is preferred. Compassion and patience in providing care to individuals with special needs. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Reliable and punctual given the overnight shift schedule. Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect the patients privacy.
