Your expertise will help ensure that our equipment is in optimal working condition, contributing to the smooth and safe operation of our projects.Key Responsibilities: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heavy equipment such as loaders, bulldozers, excavators, graders, and other machinery used in construction. Proficient in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, including motor rebuilds and overhauls. Perform regular maintenance on equipment, including engine tune-ups, hydraulic system repairs, brake adjustments, and electrical troubleshooting. Electrical system Repair, experience with the electrical systems in heavy machinery, including diagnostics, repairs and replacements. Inspect equipment for proper performance and determine any necessary repairs or adjustments. Maintain detailed records of services, repairs, and parts inventory to ensure operational efficiency. Work with operators to understand equipment issues and ensure equipment safety and performance. Perform field repairs on job sites as necessary, ensuring minimal downtime of machinery. Assist with the assembly and disassembly of machinery and ensure proper installation of parts. Stay up-to-date with the latest equipment, technologies and repair techniques. Ensure all safety standards are followed when working with heavy equipment. Qualifications: CDL (Commercial Driver's License Required) ASE certification preferred, but not required. Bilingual preferred but not required Experience working with specific equipment brands such as Caterpillar Experience with Heavy Equipment, minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience working on heavy equipment. Strong knowledge of heavy equipment systems including diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical, and mechanical components. Ability to use diagnostic tools and read equipment schematics. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Physical ability to work on-site and handle heavy components. Certification in diesel or heavy equipment mechanics is a plus.
