Summary:
To coordinate and administer a comprehensive sports medicine program for University intercollegiate sports. The assistant athletic trainer is responsible for the prevention of athletic injuries, the maintenance of the athlete‘s health and well-being, and the recuperation and rehabilitation following illness, injury, or surgery of all players.
Qualifications
Education/Qualification
- Master‘s degree required
- Certified as an Athletic Trainer (ATC) by the National Athletic Trainer‘s Association Board of Certification (NATABOC)
- Current certification in BLS, CPR, or AED
