JOB SUMMARY:
Performs speech therapy evaluation and treatment in both outpatient and acute inpatient settings.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Perform speech therapy assessment, once physician‘s orders are received
- Provide written evaluation and plan of care to the physician
- Reassess patient monthly to update plan of care
- Supervision of speech therapy assistant and other support staff
- Must continuously improve SLP knowledge & skills

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master‘s degree from an accredited college or university in Speech Language Pathology.
- TX State Speech Therapy License required, as well as Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
- Current CPR certification required.
- Ability to serve as a lead worker to subordinate personnel and the ability to assume supervisory responsibilities in the absence of the Director.
- Ability to work independently and maintain a positive, courteous attitude.
- Continued employment is contingent on successfully maintaining current required certification(s) and/or license(s).
