Forensic Investigator

Responsibilities

: Forensic Investigators are highly motivated individuals that employ specialized training and skill sets to identify, document, collect, analyze, and interpret evidence from all types of crime scenes. Forensic Investigators respond to assignments twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, participate in call rotations as scheduled, and are available for call out for major scenes when additional personnel are required. Forensic Investigators are responsible for developing, maintaining, and growing the necessary skill sets to function both independently under limited supervision, and as a team asset in large, complex scene investigations. Other core responsibilities of the Forensic Investigator include scene photography/video documentation, generating detailed reports, completing specialized training, and presenting expert witness testimony in court. Minimum Qualifications: Three years certified as a Class 1 Law Enforcement Officer Strong Reading and Writing Skills Associates, Bachelors, or Advance Post Secondary Degree is Preferred Application should be sent to Captain Steve Reeves sreeves@andersonsheriff.com
