Job Requirements:

  • Lead injection mold tooling builds and validation.
  • Lead specialized equipment / automation builds and validation.
  • Develop tooling and automation specifications.
  • Determine, quote, and present solutions to support unique customer manufacturing requests.
  • Conduct design reviews of injection mold tooling and specialized equipment / automation.
  • Create and perform validations of equipment and processes for use in producing medical components and devices.
  • Support Project Engineers in a matrix environment.
  • Assist Sales and Marketing group with generating proposals.
  • Assist manufacturing with specialized equipment / automation troubleshooting.
  • Support manufacturing with Customer Complaint investigations and Corrective Action implementation.
  • Obtain internal Six Sigma Blackbelt training and perform continuous improvement projects.
  • Capable of traveling to meet with Customers and Suppliers as needed.


Additional duties:

  • May be required to perform the duties of Quality Engineering if necessary.
  • May be required to hold and/or attend training meetings and or information meetings.


Additional Knowledge requirements:

  • Mold flow
  • Scientific processing – (Ex. Moving processes for one machine to another)
  • Microsoft Project – Advanced utilization
  • RJG Master Molder (preferred)
  • Beaumont AIM (preferred)
