GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

The Loss Control and Safety Support Analyst will assist and support the Loss Control Officer position to monitor and evaluate comprehensive safety and loss control programs for the State of Georgia.

Job Responsibilities:

Under broad supervision, the position will perform a wide range of office and field administration duties for the loss control program areas.Duties may be complex in nature and may involve access to confidential information.

This position may research, investigate, and review loss control and safety topics and matters to assist the Loss Control Officer in designing, developing, and monitoring policies, procedures and programs to meet the needs of State Agency clients.This position may require 5% travel.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

·Strong oral, written communication and presentation skills

·Strong interpersonal skills

·Strong people management skills (managing, motivating, developing staff)

·Ability to effectively work with internal and external stakeholders

·Strong decision-making skills

·Strong negotiation skills

This position may require occasional travel.

Completion of a pre-employment background check is required .

MINIMUM ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS:

Associate's degree from an accredited college or university AND Two years of related experience

OR Four years of related experience.

Commercial Insurance Carrier Loss Control experience  Insurance Agency Claims Operations experience Environmental Health and Safety experience Risk Management Information Systems platform experience
