Behavior Technician- School Setting

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking dedicated Behavioral Therapists to provide behavioral support services in a school setting. This role involves working on a variety of cases, including one-on-one and classroom support. If you are passionate about making a positive impact on children’s lives, this position is perfect for youPay: $20-$25/hrEmployment Type: Full-Time and/or Part-TimeWork Hours: Approximately 8am-3pm, Monday to FridayKey Responsibilities:+ Provide personal care and behavioral assistance/interventions to assigned student(s). + Assist students with classroom activities, grooming, eating/meal preparation, and toileting. + Support students with ambulation and transfer services. + Manage difficult behaviors and provide crisis intervention. + Encourage student independence and ensure their safety. + Implement behavioral plans effectively. + Verify changes in assignment due to client requests. + Confirm weekly schedules with the Amergis office staff. + Document care according to Amergis policies and procedures. + Complete communication notes or incident logs promptly when necessary. + Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements:+ High School diploma or equivalent. + Associate’s degree in behavioral studies or related field, or equivalent experience preferred. + Proficiency in verbal and written English. + Current Health Certificate (if applicable). + Valid CPR certification. + Current TB Skin test or Chest X-ray. + Successful completion of the company testing process.
