Industrial Engineer

This position will be located at our facility in Flagstaff, Arizona, with the possibility of a hybrid remote work arrangement, depending upon the responsibilities of the role and business needs.
Responsibilities:
- Apply industrial engineering fundamentals for process improvement and problem solving
- Support capacity planning process by managing data collection, capacity modeling, and analyzing and prioritizing capacity improvements
- Drive quantitative decision making through use of data analytics and simulation modeling
- Develop, implement, and support manufacturing and supply chain processes to establish optimized, scalable product and material flow
- Lead cross functional projects to successful completion utilizing project management skillset
- Apply Lean principles to design and improve manufacturing and other business processes, coach, and mentor other associates on Lean methodology
- Understand and apply software related to ERP, PLM, CAD, Microsoft Office suites, project management, discrete event simulation, and statistical analysis
- Leverage broad supply chain knowledge to identify and prioritize improvement opportunities across the end-to-end supply chain
- Effectively communicate and influence individuals, teams, and across the organization
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor‘s degree in Industrial Engineering or degree in related disciplines with transferable knowledge and experiences
- Solid knowledge of industrial engineering fundamentals and ability to apply this knowledge to manufacturing
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated history as an effective team member
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize, initiate, and drive projects to completion
- Ability to be on-site a minimum of four days a week
- Ability to travel up to 5% of the time
Desired Qualifications:
- Preferred 1 year relevant engineering or manufacturing operations experience
- Medical device manufacturing industry or other regulated industry
- Class II or Class III medical device manufacturing experience
