Position Summary:

Psychiatreat is seeking a dedicated Outpatient Psychiatrist with expertise in managing complex cases providing psychiatric emergency care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of suicide prevention strategies cooccurring disorder treatments and the management of personality disorders. This role will require conducting comprehensive mental status examinations and developing evidencebased treatment plans. Adherence to legal and ethical standards in psychiatry is paramount. Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems is also essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage complex psychiatric cases in an outpatient setting.
  
• Provide emergency psychiatric care and intervention.
  
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care.
  
• Develop and implement suicide prevention strategies.
  
• Conduct essments and treatments for personality disorders and cooccurring conditions.
  
• Perform mental status examinations and comprehensive psychiatric evaluations.
  
• Create and execute evidencebased treatment plans.
  
• Maintain accurate and uptodate electronic medical records (EMR).
  
• Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards in psychiatric practice.

RequirementsRequired Ss & Qualifications:

• Medical degree (MD/DO) and board certification in psychiatry.
  
• Valid and unrestricted medical license.
  
• Proficiency in complex case management and emergency psychiatric care.
  
• Experience in multidisciplinary collaboration.
  
• Expertise in suicide prevention and personality disorder treatment.
  
• Ability to ess and treat cooccurring psychiatric conditions.
  
• Familiarity with evidencebased treatment planning.
  
• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards in psychiatry.
  
• Competency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal ss.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with veterans first responders or traumaaffected populations.
  
• Previous work in outpatient or community mental health settings.
  
• Training in traumainformed care or crisis intervention.
