Responsibilities:

We are seeking a Chief of Pulmonary Medicine for our Philadelphia campus. This leadership role encompasses directing the clinical and operational activities of the department, including:

  • Overseeing daily clinical operations of medical staff
  • Establishing vision and direction for the department
  • Providing leadership for operational challenges
  • Implementing and designing policies
  • Engaging actively as a practicing physician
  • Developing education for practice-oriented staff
  • Mentoring and training clinical personnel
  • Leading quality improvement initiatives
  • Recruiting physicians and nurse practitioners to grow the department
  • Managing expectations and duties of clinical staff

Qualifications:

  • MD or DO
  • Unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license
  • Graduate of an ACGME Pediatric Residency
  • Board Certified in Pediatrics
  • Graduate of an ACGME Pediatric Pulmonary Fellowship
  • 5+ years of clinical experience in a pediatric outpatient practice
  • 3 years of experience in practice leadership and change management
