The IT Compliance Analyst will be responsible for ensuring that our organization complies with all relevant regulatory requirements and internal policies related to IT systems and controls. This role involves working closely with auditors, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to assess, develop, and implement IT compliance initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT compliance, with expertise in policy creation, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance, and IT controls. Additionally, experience with Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) tools and processes is highly desirable.

  • Collaborate with auditors to facilitate IT compliance audits, including providing necessary documentation, responding to inquiries, and addressing findings.
  • Develop and maintain IT compliance policies and procedures in alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Conduct assessments of IT controls to identify gaps and develop remediation plans as needed.
  • Monitor changes in regulatory requirements and industry standards, and proactively adjust compliance initiatives accordingly.
  • Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on IT compliance matters, including training sessions and awareness campaigns.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects to ensure IT compliance considerations are integrated into all relevant processes and systems.
  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of GRC tools and platforms to streamline compliance efforts and improve visibility into IT risk management.
  • Collaborate with IT and security teams to assess and enhance the effectiveness of IT controls, including access management, change management, and data protection measures.
  • Prepare and deliver reports on IT compliance metrics, findings, and trends to senior management and relevant governance committees.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on IT compliance matters, providing guidance and support to colleagues as needed.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT compliance, IT security, audit, or related roles.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of IT Policy creation and enforcement
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and standards such as SOX, NIST, GDPR, etc.
  • Experience working directly with auditors and managing IT compliance audits.
  • Proficiency in developing and implementing IT compliance policies and procedures.
  • Familiarity with GRC tools and platforms for managing compliance activities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISA, CISSP, CRISC) are a plus.
