The Toledo Mud Hens and Toledo Walleye are searching for an experienced individual to lead our broadcast and streaming strategy and operations.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of live and non-live game broadcast production, technologies, transmission, and distribution across linear and streaming platforms, including familiarity with regional sports networks (RSN's).


Essential Responsibilities Include:

  • Expand broadcasting initiatives across multiple platforms, including broadcast and digital channels.
  • Work closely with corporate sponsorship team to drive revenue, develop revenue opportunities, and execute sponsor deliverables across game broadcasts.
  • Manage and direct talent and other employees responsible for the broadcast.
  • Establish best practice, departmental policies, practices, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with Marketing department to leverage resources and optimize content for broadcast integration.
  • Manages projects, schedules resources, and coordinates scope changes to ensure on-time completion of projects.
  • Coordinate content across multiple media channels.
  • Manage content storing, archive, and distribution, including requests from external parties.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Broadcasting, Media Production, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years broadcast experience strongly preferred, with a focus on sports broadcasting.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to communicate effectively.
  • Ability to foster teamwork across multiple departments.
