Job Title: Lobby Attendant


Reports to: Executive Housekeeper



Status: Non-Exempt


Position Summary: Lobby attendant is dedicated to providing a consistent and exceptional guest experience by ensuring all guest expectations of public area cleanliness and service standards are met and or exceeded. Maintain a clean and welcoming work environment at all times including Heart of House and guest areas while demonstrating a courteous, warm and professional attitude at all times.

  1. Ensure all guest and employee entrances are clean and clear of trash, debris, spills and residue.
  2. All sitting areas are consistently organized and refreshed.
  3. Ensure all restrooms are cleaned and fully stocked.
  4. Ensure all restroom equipment, fixtures and dispensers are in full working order.
  5. Clean and empty all trash and recycle receptacles.
  6. Clean and maintain all guest hallway carpets, floors and surrounding section areas including doors, frames, walls, baseboards, guest elevator tracks, doors and landing areas, wall sconces, hallway vents.
  7. Ensure pool area is clean and clear of trash and furniture is arranged in place
  8. Ensure gym is clean, equipment sanitized, towels and other amenities are stocked and in good supply.
  9. Stock and replenish pool towel valet throughout the day.
  10. Properly utilize linen and trash chutes.
  11. Maintain a clean and organized Heart of House work area including supply storage lockers.
  12. Exercise safe work practices within job function based on company guidelines at all times
    1. Slips and falls
    2. Proper Lifting
    3. Chemicals
    4. PPE Personal Protective Equipment
    5. Blood Borne Pathogens
    6. Sharps/broken glass
  13. Adhere to all guidelines pertaining to lost and found and suspicious activity.
  14. Adhere to appearance standards and guidelines
Qualifications

Qualifications

Education: High School or GED is preferred

Experience: Prior housekeeping experience is preferred, but not required.

Hours Required: Must be able to work holidays and weekends. Hours may vary based on occupancy levels and hotel needs.

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to clearly understand and communicate with guests
  • Ability to push, pull, lift minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Ability to bend, kneel and stretch
  • Ability to walk/stand for extended periods of time
  • Free motion of arms, above waist
