In this role, you have the opportunity to:

As the Strategic Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing growth strategies, market analysis, building relationships both internally and externally, and expanding Philips' business within the assigned GPO, for all Philips Healthcare products.

You are responsible for

  • Develop key relationships with executive decision makers, GPO field sales team, Consulting Groups, Aggregation Groups and other key members of the GPO organization.
  • Work with Philips Business Unit leaders (Image Guided Therapy, Diagnostic Imaging, Ultrasound, Connected Care, Enterprise Informatics) and field teams (Health Systems Sales, Regional & Zone Sales/Service) to develop joint account strategies leveraging the GPO partnership.
  • Identify New Business Opportunities: Research and identify new business opportunities, including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products, and services.
  • Develop Growth Strategies: Formulate strategies to achieve the company's growth targets, focusing on increasing revenue and market share.
  • Negotiation: Lead negotiations with prospective clients, ensuring mutual benefit and long-term partnerships.
  • Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver pitches and presentations to potential clients, demonstrating the value and benefits of the company's products or services.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Bachelor's degrees and proven successful experience in business development within the healthcare space. Ideally in a Strategic or Account Executive level position.
  • Ideal candidate will have worked in or with GPOs.
  • Strong Business Acumen and Outstanding communication skills including presentations.
  • Understanding of the healthcare market and interaction between hospital system and supplier as well as a working knowledge of Philip Healthcare products and services is preferred.
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this Sales position.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%

Philips Transparency Details

Total Target Earnings is composed of base salary + target incentive. At 85% to 120% performance achievement, the Target Earning potential is $200,000 to $250,000 annually. Total compensation may be higher or lower dependent upon individual performance.

Target Earnings pay is only one component of the Philips Total Rewards compensation package, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more. Details about our benefits can be found here.

Additional Information

Company relocation benefits will not be provided for this position.
