As a Program Analyst in the Logistics Capabilities Division (CG-7413), the incumbent is the facilities subject matter expert (SME) for the office and is the primary requirements and project manager for all shore facilities and facility-related projects within the office.

Being a CG civilian makes you a valuable member of the CG team.

Typical work assignments at the full performance level include but is not limited to:

Researching and drafting threshold and objective-level operational requirements, mission functionality, and facility dependencies for shore-based infrastructure.

Maintaining and updating various types of official documents that involve developing, reviewing, approving, and/or validating operational planning factors, problem solving, needs assessments, and project management.

Leading site visits, coordinating with other agencies and non-agency personnel for facility reviews, improvements, and acquisition, and monitoring project status.

Briefing senior and executive leadership on shore infrastructure operational requirements and serving as a representative on facilities-related working groups and integrated project teams.

Serving as a planning expert on shore infrastructure budgeting and financial management issues, activities, and shore procurement, construction, and improvements
Advocating and prioritizing resources allocations for USCG enterprise operational needs by establishing long-term strategic investment and divestiture objectives.
Conducting mitigation analysis of gaps and preparing policy changes based on findings.
