Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and lead a cohesive team that excels in a culture of trust, respect, and inclusivity
  • Collaborate with IT and Product/Engineering teams to strike a balance between security and operational needs
  • Provide strategic guidance and leadership to the internal security department
  • Enhance vulnerability and compliance programs to align with company objectives and standards
  • Support team members through mentorship and performance evaluation
  • Ensure alignment of all IT processes with company policies and goals
  • Oversee security incident responses and communicate effectively with various stakeholders
  • Expand the internal security team to support global operations

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in establishing and managing compliance programs
  • Data-driven approach to cybersecurity management
  • Demonstrated ability to develop strong relationships across different departments
  • Track record of building skilled cybersecurity teams efficiently
  • Expertise in risk management and security best practices
  • Effective communication of technical concepts to diverse audiences
  • Knowledge of industry standards such as SOC2, GDPR, NIST, HIPAA
  • Deep understanding of securing AWS environments at scale
  • Experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments
  • Background in remote cybersecurity or SaaS operations is advantageous
