Job Summary and Qualifications

This position oversees the overall operations of Imaging Services (Radiology, Specials, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Mammography). Plans, directs and coordinates all operational activities for the assigned departments. Develops policies and procedures as well as the quality improvement program for the assigned departments. Develops the capital and operating budgets. Interviews and hires appropriate staff for the assigned departments. As a member of Medical Center of Arlingtons management team makes a significant contribution to the publics perception of the hospital. Performs additional duties as assigned.

  • Responsible for development and enforcement of policies and procedures that ensure quality patient care.
  • Responsible for ensuring adequate Human Resources are available in areas of responsibility.
  • Responsible for maintaining acceptable turnover in areas of responsibility. Ensures operations run within budgetary guidelines. Responsible for positive employee engagement and appropriate communication with staff.
  • Responsible for quality and performance improvement activities in department and multidisciplinary.
  • Responsible for positive customer satisfaction results.

What qualifications you will need:

Minimum Education / Licensure/Certifications

  • Bachelors degree required, Masters' degree preferred.

Minimum Experience

  • Three (3) to five (5) years' experience of management experience. Requires knowledge of all imaging procedures.
