Job Summary: Century Gaming Technologies is seeking a talented QA System Specialist to test software applications running on multiple system platforms. This position requires an individual that enjoys being challenged and who will work meticulously at exposing software defects before they get to market. This position will require minimal travel for training and will be based in the Las Vegas office.

Essential skills:

  • The ability to conceptually grasp the complex relationship and interaction of multiple software applications.
  • Show initiative and passion for learning application flows and interactions.
  • Document test plans and communicate software defects in their most elementary common denominator to the software engineer.
  • Generate test completion reports detailing project testing activities, issues/defects encountered and test results.
  • Ability to write detailed technical documents and train small groups as necessary.
  • Excellent written/verbal skills and interaction skills.
  • Identify implementation plans and document for Operations.
  • Troubleshoot test and production environment issues.
  • Responsible for maintenance of the test environment database and restores from Production.
  • Self-motivated to work with minimal supervision.
  • Detail oriented and ability to multitask.

Qualifications:

  • 2 or more years' experience QA testing in the casino industry
  • Exposure to player tracking systems
  • Basic accounting knowledge
  • Slot Accounting experience a plus
  • Experience with Automation a plus

Physical Requirements:

  • Occasionally push and/or pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Occasionally lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs. at floor, knee, and waist level
  • Occasional standing and walking
  • Frequent sitting and working on a computer
  • Constant use of hearing and vision, sitting, distinguishing between shades of color, using tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity
  • Ability to work in various conditions such as indoor, outdoor and noisy environments
