Video Production Specialist

Champions School of Real Estate is seeking a skilled and versatile Video Production Specialist who is an initiative-taking, self-starter to join our online learning development team in Austin, TX. This individual will work directly with the online course development and marketing teams to create and develop engaging video content that supports our organization's learning initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including instructional designers, content creators, subject matter experts, and stakeholders, to understand their requirements and translate them into effective visual solutions.
Video Planning/Shooting: Collaborate with course development and creative team to plan and implement video shoots of instructors, counselors, and students. Make subjects comfortable in front of the camera and provide concise direction while shoots are recorded.
Video Editing: Edit, refine, and enhance raw footage. Provide refined and edited videos to appropriate departments for use within online courses, website, and marketing initiatives.
Quality Control: Ensure that all video content meets the organization's branding guidelines, quality standards, and accessibility requirements.
Technical Expertise: Follow and remain educated with latest technologies, techniques, and trends in video production, multimedia, and e-learning to continually improve the quality and impact of our video content.
Instructional Design: Develop an understanding of instructional design and adult learning principles for web-based training.
Asset Management and Storage: Work with team to manage and organize a library of video and multimedia assets in a clear, hierarchical folder structure for quick access.
Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify areas for improvement and suggest innovative ideas and solutions to enhance the overall learning experience through video content.

Qualifications:
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Film Production, Broadcasting, Multimedia Design, Media studies, or a related discipline).
5-7 years of experience in video production, including scripting, shooting, editing, and post-production, with a strong portfolio highlighting your work. Deep understanding of pre and post production video techniques.
Proficiency using Adobe Creative Cloud (including Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator). Thorough knowledge of current video editing software. Working knowledge of Vyond, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office 365.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with online learning, learning technology, instructional, graphic and/or web design.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
Professional appearance required.
Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Additional Information
Required Work Schedule: Monday – Friday (will work on-site at campus location)

Compensation: $62k- $65k based on experience + Monthly Bonus
