Job Description
JOB SUMMARY:

The successful candidate will teach a variety of core courses within the Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Bachelor of Science in Robotics and AI, Master of Computer Science, and Master of Artificial Intelligence programs. Additional expectations include academic advising, assisting the department with program assessment, administrative work, serving on college and university-wide committees. Faculty are required to continue professional development in accordance with university expectations.

Duties and Tasks:

Teach 8 classes per year
Advise students
Assess, assist, and guide online adjunct faculty under the direction of the CS Chair
Assist with curriculum development
Assist with academic program reviews
Assist with university recruiting efforts
Undertake professional development and produce scholarly research
Teach on-ground, online, evening, and weekend classes as needed
Teach undergraduate and graduate courses
Participate in department, college, and university meetings and committees
Perform other duties as assigned by the CS Chair and/or Dean
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Knowledge:

A terminal degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Artificial Intelligence or closely related discipline
Ability to teach a broad spectrum of courses across the ACM/IEEE Computer Science curriculum
Special consideration will be given to candidates with experience in teaching Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence courses
Skills:

Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures

Abilities:
