The impact you will have in this role:

The Team is responsible for build applications that solve business challenges shared by companies across the financial industry, contextualizing our underlying technologies for the use-cases faced by our customers.

We work to standardize customer offerings and build mobile and web applications such as digital asset investment apps, fund management marketplaces and others. The XD Design Team is responsible for creating a consistent design and experience language shared across all our products.

The XD team has a big responsibility to research, design and craft how the market and customers experience our technologies through the touchpoints that we have. Within this role you will play a core part of ensuring this happens.

Your Primary Responsibilities:

  • Primarily working on our Digital Products and tasked with helping build out our financial ecosystem of products across mobile and web. You'll get to learn about areas such as compliance, investment, fund management and other FinTech, Defi and blockchain concepts from smart contracts to identity on chain. You'll apply what you learn along with a deepening knowledge of the market's unmet needs to build products that truly solve real challenges.
  • Manage a growing number of UX and UI designers on various products supporting the XD Director with their growth and development.
  • Responsible for owning and leading the entire end-to-end Product Design process, including research, UX, and UI
  • Multi-skilled in workshopping, UX standard processes, project management etc.
  • Research, interview and capture end-to-end experience maps, user flows, build Information architectures.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering to prioritize features and improve the product design process.
  • Utilize and contribute to the design system, UXUI workflows and the general SDLC.
  • Adapt to changing and pivoting company directions and needs.
  • Assist QA to ensure features are implemented to a high degree of quality and troubleshoot design issues with engineers.
  • Create project briefs, presentations, user flows, site maps, screen flows, and other necessary artifacts to communicate the recommended user experience to internal collaborators and development teams.
  • Contribute to strategic decisions around the future direction of products.
  • Market and competitor analysis along with deepening behavioral analytics with our data team

Talents needed for Success:

  • 10+ years of product design experience
  • Proven experience in all phases of the design process including user research, copywriting, wireframing, prototyping, visual design, interaction design, and usability testing.
  • Low and high-fidelity prototyping UI/UX prototyping tools like Figma
  • Experience of using Jira, Miro, Confluence are preferred.
  • Consultative approach and ability to guide and work on projects directly with the customer.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional team members and collect and interpret both qualitative and quantitative feedback.
  • Dynamic, creative personality, effective at engaging and influencing a variety of audiences.
  • Knowledge of JTBD, ODI and Design Systems would be highly useful.

The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
