Insight Global is searching for a Manager of EHR Imaging Application to join an academic medical system in Oklahoma City. The EHR Application Manager oversees a team of Application Analysts, leading them in the implementation and ongoing support of the (EHR) system. Their role involves staffing, hiring, training, and performance management. They assist in resolving highly complex issues related to clinical applications, coordinate application testing, and participate in all phases of the system development life cycle. The manager develops, configures, and modifies moderately complex information systems, ensuring documentation of business requirements and current/future state workflows. They maintain and optimize program applications, coordinate testing during implementations and upgrades, and support existing functionality while planning for future expansion. Building strong relationships with department leaders, end user communities, and customers, they champion best practices and provide hands-on training. Additionally, they serve as a key onsite EHR IT resource, lead complex projects, facilitate core clinical and business systems team activities, and contribute to policy development within the organization.
