Accountant - Corporate (Las Vegas)

KEY JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Performs daily, weekly, and monthly accounting processes to properly record and classify financial transactions for Receivable and Collection Management.
- Prepares month-end journal entries to record transactions to the financial statements.
- Assists Senior Accountants with any research of monthly journal entry related questions.
- Prepare client invoice for specified billing terms per the contractual agreement.
- Monitor aging of receivables and follow-up with client regarding any past due balances.
- Demonstrates superior customer service for both internal and external customers.
- Works closely with operation departments to ensure internal compliance guidelines are followed.
- Develop and implement best practices in all areas of Receivable and Collection Management.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Four year college graduate with a major in Accounting or equivalent preferred.
- One to two years of accounting or related experience, preferably in the gaming and/or hotel industry, and billing experience.
