This is a long-term temporary assignment, which will provide an opportunity to learn and grow. It is a full-time 40-hour week Monday – Friday job. Depending on the season, it may require flexibility of shift start time and working extended hours. Must be able to adhere to all Bayer Crop Science SOPs and to support all site safety requirements. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required every day. PPE when walking outside of the office includes a hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, long pants, high-vision PPE, and steel-toed boots. Hard hats, safety glasses, gloves, and high-vision PPE are provided. Pants and steel-toed shoes will not be provided and are required by the start date.   • High school diploma/GED; associate degree is preferred
  • At least 4 years of Administrative Assistant experience
  • Computer skills - MS Office and web-based application experience; SAP experience preferred

    Responsibilities

    The focus of this administrative role will be to work onsite at the front desk of this facility:
    • Greet and assist guests and visitors to the facility
    • Collect data from and direct truckers delivering and picking up seed
    • Provide clerical and computer support to office and management staff
    • Answer incoming calls
    • Process Invoices
    • Order and track supplies
    • Post bids and loads
    • Arrange interview times/contact candidates for interviews
    • Work with bin receipts
