Sales Support Specialist

As part of an industry-leading team, you will help drive strategic alignment and focus on all customer related activities that will directly support revenue growth. This individual should have a strong operational mindset with high focus on quality control and desire to establish revenue generating programs using a data driven approach. As a Sales Support Specialist, you will report directly into the Sales Operations business group within Alight. This position can be virtual.

Job Responsibilities:

Strategic Sales Liaison

  • Seek to drive frictionless selling as a strategic liaison for contractual, governance, & approval processes required for complex opportunities.
  • Ensure appropriate documentation of necessary approval processes as well as roles & responsibilities of the opportunity team.

Deal Management

  • Ensure adherence & utilization of the Alight Way methodology from the point of proposal development through the closed one status.
  • Administer functions include contract research, validation of price quotes, business approvals, contract/order form drafting, and order structuring requests for varying levels of deal size and complexity.
  • Collaborate and build proactive, positive relationships with peers, managers, sales operations, shared services, and account teams to ensure consistency within processes, determine best practices, and work efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with published sales and business approval policies. Be a sales advocate & partner with internal organizations to understand complex sales issues.
  • Strive to meet or exceed published service level agreements
  • Assist with post-close deal audits analyzing and reviewing revenue schedules, fees, and product(s) within the deal.

You Bring Knowledge and Expertise

Required Experience:

  • Associate's or bachelor's degree preferred or relevant experience.
  • 1-3 years of Pricing, Deal Desk, Finance and/or Sales Operations experience.
  • Experience in Salesforce reporting and data fields and can source and pull data from large data sets.
  • Professional experience in data analysis to produce meaningful insights related to deal modeling.
  • Highly detail-oriented while still able to see the big picture.
  • Capability to execute complex processes & procedures.
  • Able to work effectively with ambiguity and possess a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills

Pay Transparency Statement: Alight takes into consideration a candidate's experience, education, certification/credentials, market data, internal equity, and geography when determining an offer for a successful employment candidate, and Alight does so on an individualized, non-discriminatory basis. Therefore, an offer may fall anywhere between the estimated minimum base salary for this role of $65,600.00/year (for full time employees) and the estimated maximum base salary for this role of $162,400.00/year (for full-time employees).
