Position Summary

The Regional Sales Manager will support the existing sales, grow sales, and mange high level relationships at customers within the territory. They will work with the sales team to grow sales and profitability and expand Buckman's presence in the territory. They are responsible for the performance management of the team within the territory. Coaching the personnel will be a very important task as we strive for knowledge sharing people who are able to make their whole team stronger.

Minimum Requirements to Apply

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university
  • Pulp & Paper, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or Biology. Pulp & Paper Degree preferred.
  • 5 years + proven sales record and or years related experience and/or training
  • Successful selling record, preferably in chemical sales. Specific training in pulp and paper science
  • desirable.
  • Demonstrated understanding of business/finance and terminology desirable.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master of Business Administration or Business school certification program.
  • 10 years + proven sales management record and or years related experience and/or training
  • 10 years + of chemical or pulp and paper industry experience.
  • P&L management for a region or territory.
  • Solid understanding of smart digital solutions and can identify customer opportunities.
  • Demonstrated understanding of business/finance and terminology desirable.
