Job Overview:

As an associate of the Ask LPL Research Desk, you will support LPL Financial's advisors, and internal partners, via phone and email with questions regarding everything our Research team manages. This includes product insights, model construction, market commentary, current economic highlights, platform support, and marketing pieces. You will be responsible for training, inspiring, and engaging your team members in a manner consistent with LPL Financial's values.

The LPL Financial Ask LPL Research Desk provides market, investment, and portfolio advice to our independent advisors. Our mission is to be a trusted partner to our advisors who provide investors with choices to help meet their financial goals. In this endeavor, our sole motivation is to provide stellar due diligence and investment management advice as a partner for those advisors who manage client assets themselves or as a portfolio manager for those advisors who want to leverage our experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Timely and accurately answer advisors' questions via inbound phone line or the team's email inbox
  • Participate in training with the Research team to stay updated on market trends and firm initiatives
  • Assist and advise members of internal business units to aid in their advisor interactions and campaigns
  • Utilize the principles of continuous improvement and advisor feedback to streamline and enhance processes and procedures
  • Partnering with leadership in the Research organization to assist with different initiatives that will help develop talent
  • Openness to new ways of thinking and acquiring new skills to retain a competitive advantage
  • Lead from the front and embody the firm's mission and values – and understand how to educate and reinforce

This role will operate on a hybrid (3 days/week in office) schedule.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years' previous experience within the financial services industry
  • FINRA Series 7/66 or ability to get licensed within first 6 months

  • Financial industry or service-related certifications are a plus

Pay Range:

$25.19-$37.79/hourActual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
