Role Summary:


The Digital Workplace Manager is a strategic role responsible for overseeing the development, support and management of end user computing technologies and digital solutions that drive the company's cloud-based operations.

As a leader in the IT department, this role involves steering the Digital Workplace team towards achieving excellence in product development, fostering innovation, and ensuring seamless integration and functionality of SAAS and cloud systems.

The ideal candidate for the position will exhibit exemplary customer service and specialize in end-user support services, including device management, asset management, support of video collaboration and conference rooms.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Leads the Digital Workplace team with a focus on end user computing technology, device management, product ownership, while encouraging a culture of innovation, continuous improvement and customer obsession.
  • Provides managerial oversight of team members, including conducting regular touchbases / meetings, providing mentorship and motivation, development, performance monitoring, and creating development and coaching plans.
  • Establish and maintain team objectives and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to design and implement digital solutions that align with the company's strategic goals and evolving business needs.
  • Oversee product lifecycle management, from conception to deployment, ensuring high quality standards and user satisfaction.
  • Monitor emerging trends and technologies in the Digital Workplace and identify opportunities for implementation.
  • Develop and maintain robust information systems procedures, including backup strategies, disaster recovery plans, network maps, user training, and security protocols.
  • Drive the selection and procurement of cutting edge technologies to enhance the digital workplace.
  • Provide expert level support for a diverse range of software and hardware systems, ensuring optimal performance and user experience.
  • Oversee the resolution of incidents, service requests and problems associated with service failures or degradations related to hardware and software computing devices, including mobile equipment.
  • Support enterprise / Retail video collaboration solutions and conference rooms.
  • Accountable for the management of financial spend within allocated budget parameters.
  • Innovate and develop virtualization solutions across platforms, including but not limited to AWS, Azure, and Citrix Cloud, enhancing the company's cloud capabilities.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure transparency and accountability in system performance.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred; a graduate degree is a plus.
  • Equivalent experience of 4 6 years in Digital Workplace or systems / product management within IT may be considered.
  • A strong passion for leading edge problem solving and product development.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high quality work.
  • Outstanding communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Proven ability to multitask and thrive in a dynamic, fast paced environment.
  • Self motivated with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
  • Able to manage and govern internal and external partners, including vendors.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform physical tasks as outlined in the original job description, adapting to various work conditions and PPE requirements.
  • Maintain visual and auditory acuity to perform job functions effectively.

Work Schedule:
40+ hours weekly with flexible hours depending on department needs. Must be available to work occasional evenings, weekends and holidays

Salary will be commensurate with experience. A comprehensive benefits package including paid time off is offered with this position.

This position will work an average of 40 hours per week and will be available "after hours" if an emergency situation should arise.
