ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES: SVP, Capital Markets and Innovation Lead:

The Senior Vice President, BFS, Capital Markets and Innovation Lead, reporting to the SVP of Financial Services and Insurance, will be responsible for the following:

Drive Revenue, Margin and TCV Growth :

Own the achievement of the revenue, margins, and total contract value (TCV) targets identified for the Americas Capital Markets business. Find growth pathways and plans to further deepen the Cognizant footprint within our client base Drive profitable growth of the account relationship through identifying and overseeing the closure of new, renewal, and expansion opportunities. Stewardship of the shift to selling industry solutions that bring together technology practice capabilities Collaborates and partners with executive leadership to devise effective short- and long-term plans. Creates actionable goals that make it possible to turn that mission into tangible results.

Complex Solutioning :

Direct planning and execution of winning sales strategies on complex engagements that addresses stakeholder management, and competitive differentiation.

Business Innovation:

Develop new processes and partnerships to incubate and grow an Innovation Centre of Excellence for FSI globally.

Manage Team Performance :

Builds, directs, and inspires a diverse and multi-disciplinary team of client partners and client relationship managers Support Markets and Delivery on escalations and troubleshoot delivery challenges as needed Operate within the assigned SGA boundaries Highly skilled in the art of managing Diversity, and enables the team to advance D&I objectives at the corporate level

Required and Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

Current/recent senior Capital Markets Leadership expertise with specific background in BFS Industry and Capital Markets in North America, global experience would be an added plus Overall experience 20+ years. Minimum experience of Sales Management 15 years, preferably 15+ years at senior levels Current/Recent experience growing business with a portfolio size of a minimum $ Million, preferably more. Specific background and credentials as an industry thought leader with ability to drive Innovation and disruptive thinking within the industry Candidate must have the ability to build and lead a team and operate effectively in a matrix structure. Specific track record in building and leading successful teams is essential. Demonstrated ability of successful completion strategy to execution cycle. Candidate must have experience in complex deal creation utilizing consultative sales attributes, leadership abilities, and executive gravitas. Demonstrable track record of leading Large Transformative deals is a key.
