THIS IS A SEASONAL POSITION

A Retail Inventory Specialist is Responsible for coordinating movement of merchandise between warehouse and shop; responsible for assisting Shop Manager/Supervisor in all phases of inventory management in a timely, friendly and efficient manner in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

What will I be doing?

Responsible for merchandise flow from stockroom to shop.
Maintains store inventory levels, including stocking the store, monitoring best sellers and maintaining correct pricing of merchandise.
Communicates selling trends and highlights new merchandise arrival to Manager/Supervisor (Buyer's Reports weekly).
Maintains Purchase Order book.
Possesses familiarity of key vendors.
Strategize with Manager/Supervisor on merchandise presentation in the shop.
Reviews shipping forms and customer special orders to ensure timely delivery of merchandise to guests.
Maintains the cleanliness and organization of the stockroom.
Maintains the organization and presentation standards of the sales floor.
Assist in corporate gift needs (packaging, delivering, etc.)
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIESInteracts with guests on sales floor.
Presents features and benefits of the shop's products.
Ensures guest service is in compliance with standards set by the Hotel and the Department.
Takes special orders for customers.
Closes sales with reinforcement.
Opens other stores when there are sick calls/gives breaks when needed.

The hourly rate is $18.62 to $21.90 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
