Middle and Upper School Art Teacher

Norfolk Collegiate is seeking qualified candidates for a middle and upper school visual art teaching position for the academic year. This position will be responsible for teaching various levels of middle school art as well as foundational art courses in the upper school. Experience with studio art, ceramics, and digital art utilizing the Adobe Creative Suite is preferred. Responsibilities also include advising a small group of middle school students and supporting the school's mission. A successful candidate for this position will have a bachelor's degree in art or a related discipline, excellent organizational and communication skills, and experience teaching art to adolescents. Ideal candidates will have teaching experience in a middle or upper school setting and a commitment to interdisciplinary approaches to learning.
