Virtus Healthcare Staffing is partnering with a leading Level I Trauma Center in Tucson, AZ to find an exceptional Director of Clinical Resources.

This is a day shift position requiring an active Arizona or Compact RN license.

About the Opportunity:

As the Director of Clinical Resources, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing the hospital's clinical supply chain, ensuring efficient and cost–effective resource management.

You will lead a team dedicated to streamlining procurement, inventory control, and distribution of medical supplies and equipment. Your strategic vision and strong leadership skills will be instrumental in achieving optimal patient care delivery while controlling costs.

Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive clinical resource management strategies to enhance efficiency, cost–effectiveness, and quality of care.

Oversee all aspects of the clinical supply chain, including purchasing, inventory management, and distribution.

Lead negotiations with vendors and secure favorable contracts for medical supplies and equipment.

Analyze spending patterns and identify cost–saving opportunities through standardization and value analysis efforts.

Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies concerning clinical resources.

Foster strong relationships with clinical and administrative leadership to understand and address resource needs.

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of clinical resource professionals.

Participate on various committees and contribute to strategic decision–making.

Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to clinical resource utilization and cost control.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

Arizona or Compact RN Licensure (active).

Minimum 3 years of hospital experience in a supply chain leadership role.

Proven track record of success in optimizing clinical resource management and reducing costs.

Strong analytical and problem–solving skills.

Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

Experience leading and motivating a team.

Proficiency in healthcare information systems (e.g., EMR, ERP) is a plus.

Certified Materials and Resources Professional (CMRP) certification is preferred.
