Program Summary

KBR maintains and manages Army prepositioned stocks at the Army Field Support Battalion - Charleston (AFSBn-CHS) land site and aboard ship to include all logistics and maintenance operations. The KBR APS-3 Program is managed and executed at Goose Creek in support of the Army's power projection doctrine and resources. The contract provides maintenance of APS-3 stocks (Class II, IIIP, IV, VII, IX) to ensure that unit sets stored aboard marine vessels are configured and maintained at optimal readiness. KBR provides limited maintenance and supply support aboard ship to ensure that equipment sets are maintained in a ready condition for emergency download and issue to operating units at the direction of the US Army. KBR also provides maintenance services and logistical support for other Army programs IAW individual scope of work contract requirements.

Job Summary

Database Administrators are professionals who ensure that all databases, including those for financial or customer information, stay up to date with policies and procedures in place to protect against data loss. Should something happen on-site at their office, they utilize their skills in computer science to resolve any problems.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Updating SharePoint Databases
  • Time Keeping for finance and payroll updates
  • Strong hands-on experience in the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate (Flow), Dataverse & SharePoint
  • Develop Power Platform Solutions - Develop PowerApps Canvas-driven apps for Microsoft Teams
  • Create business process automation opportunities using Power Automate and Power Apps
  • Access Database design, maintenance, querying, Connecting SharePoint Lists and Dataverse tables into an Access Database
  • Dataverse Database design, maintenance, create views and relationships Design, develop, and execute data migration processes and integrations to external or existing systems SharePoint Knowledge, Creating SharePoint Lists, Document Libraries, and Content Types
  • Experience Transforming data using Power Query in Excel
  • Experience Creating a Word Template, Inserting Document Properties Microsoft Visio or other process flow application experience.

Basic Qualifications (Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Requires at least 5 years of related experience
  • Must be well versed in basic office automation systems/hardware, the MS Office Suite, and understand SharePoint/Shared file systems.
  • Must be able to multi-task and problem solve.
  • Requires a High School diploma or equivalent, college completion preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Army unit structure i.e. MTOEs, authorizations, requirements, equipment readiness.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain local base access.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a favorable Common Access Card (CAC) issuance.
  • Must be able to meet government-specified requirements for deployment.
  • SQL, SharePoint, MS Office 365
  • Power Apps Experience, Power BI

Preferred Qualifications (Preferred Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)

  • Degree in Database administration or Computer Science
