CDM Caregiving Service is a large local non-profit agency seeking caregivers to provide care for elderly and others with disabilities in their own homes.

We welcome current CNA and HCA's to apply as well as people interested in becoming Home Care Aids. We are currently seeking caregivers that are available morning, afternoon and/or evening hours on both weekdays and weekends.

Our non-profit agency is the oldest and largest in Clark County. We provide meaningful one-on-one care to individuals of all ages. The diversity of our clients in all stages of life will give you an abundance of experience.

Most office staff come from some form of a caregiving background and understand the needs of both clients and caregivers.

  • Flexible work hours
  • Full medical, dental, and vision benefits for only $25/month (80 hour/month minimum to qualify)
  • Dependent Dental available for additional $10 a month and Dependent Health Benefits available for additional $100
per month (120 hour/month minimum to qualify)

  • $20.81-$23.26/hour weekday: Higher starting wage with proof of in-home care experience (where applicable)
  • Additional $1.00/hour for weekend shifts and additional $1.25 per hour while working for clients requiring a Hoyer lift
  • Paid travel time between clients at hourly pay rate
  • Paid mileage @ .56/mile
Accrue PTO upon hire: 1 hour of PTO for every 40 hours worked. Accrual rates increase with longevity up to 2.5 hours of PTO for every 40 hours worked.

Note:
If you are not currently credentialed, you do not have to complete all the training to begin working. Human Resources will assist and track all required training for you.


In addition to hiring Home Care Specialists, we are also looking for an experienced HCA or CNA to be hired as our Dispatch Home Care Aid (DHCA).

This position requires you to be willing to provide care to all of our clients in a "on-call" setting. You have a set schedule for times you are on call and hours of pay are guaranteed. You also receive an additional $2.00 per hour while working with clients. This position is Tuesday- Saturday 8:30am-5pm.

Requirements

You must:

  • Be 18 years or older
  • Have a valid driver license
  • Drive your own vehicle, which must be insured.
  • You must have a social security card.
  • Submit to a state and federal background check through DSHS.
  • If not currently credentialed:
Within 14 days of hire, submit the home care aide certification application

Within 120 days from hire, complete 75 hours of entry level training approved by DSHS

Within 200 days from hire, pass the DOH Home Care Aide certification examination.
