Responsible for the largest retail chains in Texas; one of the largest and fastest growing markets in the US. Opportunity to work closely with Southern Glazer's Wine and Spirits and the Texas Team on planning, budgeting, and execution for key retailers in Texas

Role Responsibilities

Role Responsibilities

• Manage the Texas retail chain market with responsibility for growing sales and share while expanding on shelf & floor presence and developing working relationships with buyers and key stakeholders

• Will be tasked with developing and owning relationships with key regional chains and helping drive consumer retail consumption

• Regional Chain responsibilities include: Twin, Goody Goody, WB, Gabriel's, Hakemy's, and Pinkies.

• Will facilitate relationship between key NAHQ retailers (TWM and Specs) and the Texas team

• Will need to work closely with local sales team, marketing, category management and Southern Glazer's teams to bring new value and services to regional chain accounts

• Charged with expanding distribution/volume on priority brands/sizes. Successfully launch all new products while achieving volume and distribution KPI s as set out by corporate management. Leverage and create relevant programming.

• Conduct monthly/quarterly meetings with key account buyers to present programming/innovation

• Work with Territory Manager, State Manager and the National Account Managers at BSI to ensure effective communication of Programming to the distributor and retailer; additional ensure strong execution accordingly in market

• Participate in monthly reviews with Sr Channel Manager and State Manager to identify any issues/concerns that can be improved upon with future programs and to call out successful business practices that we can expand upon moving forward.

• Monitor distributor execution weekly/monthly and address all shortfalls when they occur with corrective actions plans.

• Actively manage the presentation and execution of category plans, brand plans, promotions and new item introductions ensuring compliance with Brand Standards at all times.

• Provide sales training and communication, to distributor sales force in areas of brand trend awareness and sales technique in conjunction with the Sr Manager of Channel Sales

• Ensure all efforts and sales involvement is in compliance with state and federal laws.

• Develop relevant programming to leverage sponsorships that will drive sales and share growth i. e. Bringing creative ideas on how to bring our strategic brand partnerships to life in retail.

Qualifications


• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

• Previous spirits industry experience preferred.

• 5-7 years consumer products sales experience

• Knowledge of the Texas Adult Beverage market

• Budget development and retail sales experience

• Excellent written/oral communication and business analytical skills

• Demonstrated MS Office proficiency in Excel and PPT

• Experience working with beverage distributors preferred.

• Licensed driver of motor vehicles.
