for the financial administration of the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority's
(GOAA) federal and state grants awards. Serve as liaison with other GOAA departments
and staff to centralize grant application and compliance records. Assist with
the preparation of Schedule of Federal Awards and State Financial Assistance.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor degree in Accounting and (5) years of related accounting/finance experience, or an equivalent combination of related education, training, and experience.
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Uniform Guidance/Chapter 10.550, Rules of the Auditor General – State of Florida is required.
  • Experience with financial grant administration and/or compliance is required.
  • Experience with an airport authority, FAA, FDOT, or equivalent is desired.
  • Strong knowledge of grant funding policies and procedures and applicable federal, state and local regulations.
  • Current technical accounting skills including knowledge of GAAP, GASB and financial reporting practices for enterprise fund accounting preferred.
  • Knowledge of COSO internal controls framework and Single Audit requirements for grants.
  • Knowledge of COSO internal controls framework for Passenger Facility Charges is desirable.
  • Able to interpret detailed information complex contracts and financings and provide analysis to senior management.
  • Knowledge of commercial construction pay applications, retainage payable and GMP contracts desirable.
  • Knowledge and experience of various financial areas and handling multiple responsibilities.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of spreadsheet software with demonstrated ability to create complex spreadsheets, graphs, charts or other reports.
