The Division of Cardiovascular Health and Disease, in the Department of Internal Medicine, at the University of Cincinnati, College of Medicine, invites applications for a faculty position as an Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Clinical (rank commensurate with experience).
Cardiology faculty at University of Cincinnati Medical Center (UCMC) and West Chester Hospital are expected to contribute to ambulatory and hospital-based care, maintain active engagement in our education and training missions and participate in quality improvement, safety, and research projects.
Essential Functions
- Clinical practice in the areas of general cardiology.
- Provide ambulatory and hospital based care.
- Active engagement in education and training missions.
- Participate in quality improvement, safety, and research projects.
- Other related duties as assigned.
- Medical Degree (MD or DO).
- Board certification in Internal Medicine.
- Board eligibility or certification in cardiovascular diseases.
- Training in cardiac imaging.
- Ability to obtain an unrestricted Ohio State Medical License and DEA license.
- Experience in 3D echocardiography, strain echocardiography, TEE, structural heart disease and/or advanced nuclear cardiology, including knowledge of image processing/reconstruction.
