Job Description

Olsson's Facility Engineering and Design Team is at the forefront of engineering innovation, providing comprehensive services for large commercial developments, healthcare facilities, laboratories, educational institutions, data centers, and military installations. Our expertise includes engineering analysis, design services, and professional consulting, ensuring top-tier quality and world class installations. We're in search of a Senior RCDD Designer , someone who can blend expertise and creativity to elevate our projects. In this role, you'll navigate complex designs using CAD/BIM software, spearhead the design for data centers and building systems, and oversee smaller projects to ensure our hallmark of excellence and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Master CAD/BIM software to create detailed engineering designs, focusing on efficient data center/building cable routing, equipment layouts, and communication systems.
  • Serve as the design authority on projects, driving high-quality outcomes and pioneering solutions.
  • Lead smaller projects with meticulous attention to detail, overseeing each phase from inception to completion.
  • Represent Olsson's dedication to excellence and partnership in client meetings.
  • Be ready to visit job sites as required, adapting to diverse conditions to guarantee project success.

We will consider candidates interested in being located out of our Lincoln, Omaha,North Kansas City, Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Fort Worth, or Plano office locations. Candidates may also live anywhere in the United States and work remotely.

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Drafting and Design preferred.
  • 6+ years of CAD/BIM experience; proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.
  • RCDD Licensure.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and layout complex engineering drawings, with a preference for experience in BIM 360, Navisworks, and Revit.
