A PRODUCTION CONTROLLER (SCHEDULING), GS-1152-9, Responsible for advising, planning and coordinating aircraft maintenance requirements andutilization scheduling between maintenance, operations, and external organizations.

Activelyparticipates in the Wing Flying Hour Working Group for planning, scheduling, and execution of theWing's Flying Hour Allocation process.

Verifies and reconciles the accuracy of unit flying hourallocations daily with Wing Operations Group and as directed with NGB AVDO and the Flying HourAnalyst.

Manages all assigned major commodity areas (Airframe, Engine, Components and SpecialProjects).

Develops, analyzes and evaluates multiple Maintenance Information System(s) (MIS) andvarious databases reports, charts and graphs to inform senior maintenance management.

Actively participates in daily, weekly, and monthly scheduling, and quarterly/yearly planning programs andmeetings. Communicates and advises leadership of potential over-utilization conditions. Analyzesand improves repair processes, methods, procedures and standards. Researches and determinescause for missed maintenance-related scheduled events and documents findings as required.

Develops local procedures to ensure effective and efficient scheduling of engines, supportequipment, and develops, writes, and publishes guidance for aircraft document reviews.

Reviews both immediate and long-range requirements based on current workload forecasts andconditioned based maintenance and develops plans for obtaining resources to meet productionrequirements.

Plans allocation of resources and distribution of work to ensure productioncommitments are accomplished as scheduled.

Evaluates progress, analyzes requirements andavailability of resources, communicates changing priorities to work center supervisors to ensurework is accomplished efficiently and deconflicts maintenance activities.

Monitors and updates statusof Work In Process (WIP). Coordinates with office of primary responsibility (OPR) on extensionrequests to maximize efficiency of aircraft availability. Initiate, validate, and submit time changeextension requests, as needed. Manages the Configuration Management program.
Maintains historical documents and maintenance data essential for aircraft records accuracy.
Review and report status of decentralized records to maintenance operations flight supervisor.

Actsas the wing Aerospace Vehicle Distribution Officer (AVDO), coordinates aircraft transfer betweenorganizations, generates specific documentation (AFTO Form 103, Aircraft/Missile Condition Data).Participates in the development and maintenance of the Programmed Depot Maintenance (PDM)schedule for all assigned aircraft and equipment.

Performs other duties as assigned.
